Key responsibilities include identifying market opportunities, analyzing crop trends, competitive dynamics, policy changes, and farmer needs to develop sustainable growth strategies. The incumbent works closely with R&D, sales, marketing, and production teams to deliver successful product launches, demand-generation programs, pricing strategies, and channel engagement initiatives. The role also focuses on strengthening existing products, expanding into high-potential market segments, and building field capabilities through crop and product training. Success requires strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, market understanding, and the ability to convert insights into profitable business outcomes.
Job Description
Key Resposibilites:
- Develop and execute crop growth strategies aligned with market opportunities and business objectives.
- Map geographies, crop shifts, market trends, and expansion opportunities to drive portfolio growth.
- Track policy changes, competition, value-chain dynamics, and emerging farmer needs.
- Lead product portfolio management, lifecycle planning, and go-to-market strategy execution.
- Design and implement impactful product campaigns to strengthen market presence and adoption.
- Collaborate with R&D, sales, marketing, and production teams to drive product innovation.
- Plan and execute successful product launches, positioning, communication, and test-marketing initiatives.
- Develop pricing strategies and channel schemes to maximize profitability and farmer value.
- Monitor competitor pricing, market feedback, and customer preferences for informed decision-making.
- Conduct market research and deliver crop/product training to strengthen sales and field capabilities.
