About Job
The role of Senior Manager/Manager would be to independently handle all work relating to the legal function.S/He should have expert knowledge of the laws applicable to manufacturing companies (exposure in fertilizer, petro-chemicals company would be preferred), proficiency in matters relating to contract, litigation at various forums, arbitration, IPR, regulatory affairs, statutory compliances. Basic knowledge of corporate laws and SEBI regulations is desirable.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Contract - Draft, review and negotiate contracts & various legal documents.
- Litigation – formulate litigation strategy, drafting of various documents including issuing/replying to legal notices, pleadings, written statements, affidavits, etc., co- ordination with counsel(s).
- IPR matters – advising internal functions on IPR matters, availability search of trademark, filing applications for registration of trademark and other activities related thereto.
- Policy related matters – frame, implement and control policies, procedures, SOPs relating to legal function.
- Statutory compliances – monitor statutory compliances via the compliance management tool and support/advise the functions on compliance matters.
