The Business Head – Frozen Foods will lead the national strategy, sales, and business operations for the frozen foods portfolio consisting of cheese cakes, mousse, desserts, cakes etc. This role requires a seasoned sales leader with deep industry relationships, strong culinary understanding, and proven P&L management capabilities. The individual will drive growth across QSRs, institutional clients, and distribution networks, while building a high‐performance sales organization.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
● Sales & Business Development: Drive B2B sales of frozen foods to international, national, and regional QSR chains. Leverage established relationships with key decision makers including Purchase and Culinary teams. Expand business with institutional caterers—corporate catering companies, event caterers, wedding caterers, and large-scale food service operators.
● Strategic Leadership" Define and execute the national sales strategy for frozen foods. Lead P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue planning. Identify new product opportunities and collaborate with R&D and culinary teams for development.
● Key Account Management: Strengthen partnerships with marquee QSR accounts and institutional clients. Ensure delivery of growth targets through joint business planning, menu development insights, and solution selling.
● Team Leadership: Build, develop and manage a capable all‐India sales team. Mentor and coach team members in culinary selling, customer engagement, and solution-oriented sales.
● Distribution & Supply Chain: Set up and expand the national distribution network for frozen foods.
Ensure efficient supply chain coordination and cold chain integrity across regions.
Required Experience & Skills
● Proven track record of selling frozen foods or allied food products to leading QSRs.
● Deep relationships with Purchase and Culinary teams across key accounts.
● Strong connect with institutional catering partners.
● Experience working with or competing against companies such as McCain Foods, Hyfun, Cremica foods, Bakers Circle, etc.
● Solid culinary understanding to engage with chefs, menu developers, and technical evaluators.
● Demonstrated P&L management experience and strategic business leadership.
● Expertise in setting up national distribution channels for food products.
● Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
● An astute salesperson with strong business acumen and culinary insight.
● A relationship-driven leader who commands respect in the QSR and food service ecosystem.
● A strategic thinker capable of scaling a business nationally through structured GTM planning and operational excellence.
● A people leader with the ability to build, inspire, and grow a high-performing sales team.
