The position requires a dynamic, result-oriented leader skilled in shaping sales strategies, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding business across diverse channels. The incumbent will oversee client acquisition, key account management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless delivery of customer needs. A critical part of the role includes building, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing sales team while driving operational excellence, forecasting accuracy, and budget discipline. The leader will also spearhead market expansion initiatives, evaluate emerging opportunities, and ensure data-driven decision-making to achieve top-line and bottom-line goals.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.

Analyze market dynamics to identify opportunities, risks, and competitive movements.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic accounts.

Drive customer acquisition and expand the client base in the bakery services domain.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.

Implement robust performance review systems and capability-building programs.

Identify new business opportunities through market intelligence and business development efforts.

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer forums.

Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and prepare periodic sales reports.

Manage sales budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to optimize outcomes.
Desired Candidate Profile:

Master’s degree preferred with 12+ years in Pan-India sales within bakery, food service, or FMCG.

Proven experience leading a sales team of 8+ members with ₹30–40 Cr+ annual turnover.

Strong understanding of the bakery services ecosystem and key market players.

Expertise in channel sales, key account management, planning, and budgeting.

Excellent leadership, analytical thinking, communication, and negotiation skills.
