MERN Stack Developer
About Job
This role involves working on some very complex modules for a fast growing US based travel e commerce company. The firm based in US works across various global locations towards building a travel experience platform. This individual will get to work with highly experienced full stack engineers from across various international locations and work in cohorts of 4-5 engineers. The client company is hence looking for an expert in Node.js with good exposure to React.js and experience in Post Gres or any other relational/SQL database management systems like Oracle/MySQL/Micorsoft SQL etc. Solid experience in using typescript on Node will be needed. S/He will be 4-7 years of experience in Mern stack development, worked on both Front-end & Back-end Framework. Strong proficiency in Typescript (with at least 2-3 Projects done using Typescript)& its frameworks/libraries (NextJS (at least 1 Project), Node.js, Express.js).
Job Description
Roles And Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing high-quality web applications using the Mern stack
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Optimizing web applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues in production and test environments
- Keeping up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the web development industry
- Leading and mentoring junior developers, providing guidance and support
- Working with remote teams & customers outside
- Develop and maintain robust web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, typescript).
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams to design, code, and deploy scalable solutions.
- Harness your knowledge of RESTful APIs to integrate backend services.
- Experience with Graphql, apollo client
- Craft responsive UI components using React.js to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Utilise Node.js for efficient and seamless server-side development.
- Experience with react next.js framework
- Having experience with Unit Testing using Jest and end-to-end testing using Cypress.
- Maintain code quality using lint, husky, prettier
- Employ MongoDB for data modelling and integration
