Job Description
As the Lead, Staff Software Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of next-generation networking and IoT systems. You will use your technical acumen to drive strategic initiatives, optimize system architectures, and deliver feature-rich products across Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies. A strong foundation in embedded systems and cloud integration is essential, as well as a proactive mindset toward mentoring and collaboration. You will be the go-to technical expert, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Architect and implement large-scale networking solutions using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MQTT, and real-time systems.

Lead the development and enhancement of cloud-connected applications for Wi-Fi IoT devices.

Port and optimize MQTT protocols (Paho, WolfMQTT) for seamless cloud integration on embedded devices.

Design system services architectures that simplify customer interaction with wireless modules.

Develop features such as Concurrent Mode for audio streaming with STA/AP dual functionality.

Integrate Amazon’s Frustration-Free Setup (FSS) into embedded systems to improve onboarding experience.

Implement WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) for secure and simplified device connectivity.

Provide expert-level technical support, resolving complex networking issues in customer-facing products.

Contribute to the Bluetooth stack development, including adaptation layers for embedded platforms.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, leading design reviews, code troubleshooting, and architectural decisions.

Ensure timely project delivery while upholding high standards in code quality, performance, and documentation.

Collaborate closely with product managers, QA, and hardware teams to ensure successful product releases.

Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, protocols, and technologies to inform product roadmaps.
