Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize production, processing, and distribution of cotton seeds across multiple locations.
• Production & Processing Management: Oversee large-scale seed production and processing activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
• Logistics & Distribution: Manage the logistics network to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of seeds, coordinating with transportation providers and warehouses.
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Sales, and Marketing to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and quality standards throughout the supply chain processes.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain effectiveness and implement improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is highly desirable.
• Experience: 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management within the agricultural sector, with a strong emphasis on cotton seed production and processing.
• Leadership: Proven track record of leading large, diverse teams and managing complex supply chain operations across multiple locations.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, ERP systems) and data analytics tools.
• Age Range: 45–50 years, aligning with the expected experience level for this senior role.
