Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute long-term R&D strategies that align with our company's vision and market needs.

Program Management: Oversee ongoing breeding and biotech programs, ensuring they meet scientific and commercial objectives.

Innovation Integration: Identify and implement new tools and technologies to maintain our competitive edge in R&D delivery.

Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of scientists and researchers to achieve excellence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to facilitate the transition of R&D projects from concept to commercialization.

Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the R&D function in executive meetings, providing insights and updates to the MD/CEO and other stakeholders.
🎯 Qualifications:

Educational Background: Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Biotechnology, Genetics, Plant Breeding, or related fields

Experience: 15+ years of progressive experience in R&D, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing breeding and biotech programs.

Technical Expertise: Proven track record of integrating innovative technologies into R&D processes.

Leadership Skills: Strong strategic thinking, people management, and team collaboration abilities.

Age Range: 45–50 years, reflecting the depth of experience required for this senior role.
