Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
Yarn Sourcing Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive yarn sourcing strategy to meet production requirements and quality standards.
- Analyze market trends and global supply chain dynamics to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiency.
Supplier Management:
- Identify and assess potential yarn suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- In house co-ordination with in-house spinning marketing team
- Regularly evaluate supplier performance and address any issues to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality yarn.
Cost Management:
- Work closely with the finance department to develop and manage the yarn sourcing budget.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality and delivery timelines.
Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain stringent quality standards for sourced yarns.
- Conduct regular audits of suppliers to ensure adherence to quality specifications and ethical sourcing practices.
Collaboration with Production Team:
- Coordinate with the production team to understand yarn requirements and align sourcing activities accordingly.
- Ensure timely delivery of yarns to meet production schedules and minimize disruptions.
Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies related to yarn sourcing.
